Getting a A better future.
To GET a better future, we must GIVE a better future. To have others care for us, we must care for them.
... Not just so that they will "pay us back double", but so that ALL-OF.US can enjoy a better future, rather than "Just the elite" at the expense of "lesser people" and "animals".
We have but OnePla.net to share, and we do so, Oh, so badly, yet still say "God bless America / Australia / WotFR." and expect our government bureaucrats to make it right for us.
Such is not "facing the future" nor "boldly going forth", and the current generation seems to be making no better of it than the generation before - WORSE, In fact, as humans continue to add to the already drastically overpopulated and violence controlled masses of "the third world". Then we wonder why "they" cheer the destruction of "The World Trade Centre" - an apparently wonky organization set up to keep such masses down. It is WE that need to become less violent and more caring.
Global Warming.
We have long avoided doing anything about "Global Warming", as it has appeared to be "Somebody Else's problem" - perhaps only in 2007 has more than "the occasional looney" saught to leave a better legacy than today's children now have. So, What can be done about it?
Number 1 is "To CARE" ... As a baby boomer I could easily tuck my head in the sand of a private beach and say "not my problem" - but it's EVERYBODY'S problem - and I have many solutions to these many problems. I just have difficulty getting my message across!

We all want Do-lars for our favorite projects, our lifestyles, houses and nest-eggs. I am not alone in wanting such help, or in believing that my solution(s) will be "up to it" ... but I am not in need of a million dollar lifestyle.
WorldPower.Biz
WorldPower.Biz is more intended to be about ENERGY than POLITICS, but the two are very close knit. Both types of power ( and Do-lars ) distort "democracy"
"Duty-Of-Care" and "Fair Play" that we want for ourselves, whilst our border guards forcibly keep out others that want a share of our "Good" lifestles.
Number 2 is "You can't change any ONE thing" ... whenever a major change occurs, MANY consequences occur. Simply removing world borders would be such a change, with its many consequences. We should try to work towards that end though, if we are to avoid world war 3 and the many OTHER potential ends to life as we know it.

I'm a baby-boomer noticing it. I feel about as likely to make another 40 years as I did in London, as the cold war loomed ever larger, and ICBMs and war satellites were starting to frighten us.
40 years of baby-boomer slackness and uncaring has led to ever more babies, using evermore "cheap and dirty" fossil fuels.
Those now becoming teenagers have a lot less to thank their parents for than I did. (My dad fought in World War 2.) .. and "The Z Generation" (2005-2025) "should extract compensation from their mothers for idiocy"... well, perhaps.
Australia is as overdue as everywhere else for a needed change in CARING
