GOOD NEWS, I hope, at last, an arm of a capitalist government apparently trying to be more caring.
We Australians think the world cares about us, and that we care about them (or it) – but we do “Pull more than our weight” at times though admittedly mainly in football and sports.
The world would be worse of FINANCIALLY if our resources weren't there, but it would be a lot better off without the pollution of the coal we dig up and sell, (too cheaply) without any expectation of being charged for that pollution ...“If it's burnt somewhere else”. WE MUST REDUCE THAT DIGGING despite any tiny share of corporate income or trinkets that www.We-ThePeople.com are given to dig, or permit that digging
Julia Gillard is only “acting” Prime Minister (president in a british commonwealth nation.)
but is likely to be elected next weekend.
The LABORPARTY.BIZ Authorised the change from Kevin Rudd, our elected PM, when he apparently stopped listening to them. Our one choice every 3 years is between two PARTIES, not two PEOPLE, though a 3rd party and “independents” can slightly affect policies
The Liberal opposition also replaced its leader Malcolm Turnbull with Tony Abbot www.TonyABBOT.NET who is less of, but still a religiot, a mining aficionado and anti-science deny-er unlikely to fulfil any wild promises made.
Israeli Nazism.
The
Berlin airlift was a big thing when I was little in England. A
community was cut off from supplies by USSR “Communist Russia”
and emergency aid had to be got in by the superpowers. (us good guys)
Israel is the new restricting bully, and the community is
Palestinian or “Arab” in general thinking – the
group that, like the former Germans of Berlin, is thought of as a
worrying aggreor.
Murdering humanitarian aid convoys trying
“to break that embargo” is a war generating move, and the
perpetrators need to be dealt with as murderers in peace time, not as
soldiers in war time. America is an accessory to those murders,
having provided protection and possibly help in nuclear arming Israel
– or failing to stop Israel being a nuclear terrorist, like
itself.
