We all wonder "where to start" on the tasks that we face.Sometimes It seems they will overwhelm us.
The only sensible place to start is to start by caring ... in an Interdependent way of our selves and others.
Independence is a furffy. We all depend on others, as do others depend on us.

"Independence" is nowhere near as important to celebrate as our realization of interdependence

CARING about the future is always a good place to start

Our collective insufficient attention to the welfare of our planetary environment and future see us ALL in a scarey position, and it is doubtful that the planet will care much for us, if we don't care for it.

A global problem needs a global solution.

We all depend on others, as do others depend on us. We all have a degree of independence, and Our duty to our families and comrades and to the environment that we and they will live in. You may live well beyond 100 years within a much shorter time than generally imagined.. The Z generation (2005-2025) will exceed that, if they can survive.. it is far too many of one creature in an environ that we call a plague – damaging everything else. It is the plague of mankind drastically overbreeding on an oil glut that is ending at the further expense of our OnePla.net

They get more taxes if they dig up more fossil fuel. But it's “useful” “needed” and “profitable” and “makes jobs” for those prepared to be involved in this, for the money. … I'm sure they can dig up non-combustible minerals or energy elsewhere..
