But the damage caused by too many people burning too much coal or oil is already causing problems, and those problems are increasing rapidly or exponentially as ignorant parents keep on having too many human babies, whose future is LESS assured than our own. Think Globally, Act Globally

Although “Think globally, Act Locally” is better than not thinking or doing at all, it is selfish. Global problems NEED Global solutions, we all share just OnePla.net … and our exit route is now through a “minefield” of ultra-high speed orbiting debris. A LOT bigger problem than generally recognized.

The world is NOT short of power, without burning anything. It could be done. Should be done, but who cares? … and who profits?

Burning fossil fuels (excessively) is a crime against the planet and the rest of it's people. Animals and environs. Those involved in its mining and transport are mercenaries well paid for not thinking what they do. Which is a crime, if it hurts others, and it does.

Breeding excesses ditto. It is NOT every womans right to have many (or any) kids that increase our global burden. Perhaps (radically) any woman failing the call to terminate should be shot? - a bad solution? Every birth (so far) results in a death, and a life that will probably see food wars and an even larger degradation of our planet. BirthPermits.com are even more necessary than “driving permits” which require us to demonstrate competence to take care.

POWER SOURCES

By far the best source of energy on Earth is HOT Geo-Thermal. See LavaPower.Biz and Iceland has the most. Enough to power ALL our present needs, globally.

Solar Power from the hot deserts of the world (or one's rooftop, in smaller “personal” amounts) can also contribute. My 20+ years old design is still the best, economically and with multiple benefits.

Hydro-Electric is very expensive and (like nuclear) subject to causing great damage on failure.

Nuclear Fission power plants have lost a lot of appeal since Japan's major disaster THIS year, and the deadly poisonous waste disposal problem. Fusion Power holds our hopes IF we ignore the consequences of a runaway fusion reaction.

Windmills of useful power levels at ground level are very large and unsightly, and lack “character” though much higher levels can be got from the jetstream – I have a design.. but I see Lava Power as the best GLOBAL solution to our energy needs, on a WIN-WIN basis – the only sensible basis.

Ethics, in conventional national governments are played either WIN-LOSE or WIN-don't care. Neither are ethical. And are mostly based on TheMAND.US (a spiky beast, Fawful*)

The BUSINESS of WORLD Government is to “Govern” or regulate what individuals and corporates and banks can do – and can't do. Destroy our OnePLA.NET we absolutely MUST avoid. Personally AvoidingDEATH.COM will (or may be) an option for us sooner than most people think. Circa2020.com was my 1997 estimate for a none biological “backup” or a HEC - “Human Equivalence Computer” 100 billion “neurones” of data – each about a 10KB processor.

Regardless – there are nearly 7 Billion people on this planet that need feeding, and opportunities. We are far from equal, today, many people will die of starvation... “elsewhere” whilst “we” jet off to luxury holidays, because we are rich from digging up coal and other Fossil fuels to burn in our single communal atmosphere. Neither are fair on other humans, endangered animals or environs.

I suggest that it's up to ALL of Us to correct this. Start by knowing this. Not Faith and Trust, but DoubtAndTest.com the engineers maxim.
