0301-010 Modern city lifestyles require electrical power, also gas and liquid fuels for transport. Different nations have different amounts of fossil fuels and oils buried within their territories which is used up or sold off (or has to be bought) and the amount already burnt is causing major problems for others.
Emission Trading Systems
"Emission Trading Systems" are a political furfee to avoid taking full responsibility. We need to be more caring of others - and the future.
We need to STOP digging up fossil fuels with the intention of burning them, either here or somewhere else in our common, ONE shared atmosphere, on our OnePla.net - there are many other sources of power such as geothermal and solar that can be collected by big installations and distributed on a world-wide supply basis. MEANWHILE we should cut by 10% per year this fossil fuel burning.
A carbon Tax (to be paid on digging up fuels) should ENTIRELY fund energy alternatives. - but We'd have to be sure that the government didn't just "take the money and run" from responsibility as they do now from the mining companies and from all their employees taxes... It's hard not to eat all One's candy or "keep digging as before, with earplugs" It's NOT SOMEBODY ELSE'S PROBLEM.

1 Parents rights to have and own children
2 Money
3 Control of law
4 Control of politics and armies
5 Fossil fuels
6 Electricity
1) Bringing more children into a world that has insufficient resources for them is cruel, and shows a very selfish and uncaring attitude
2) Privileged Parents and Nations remain so by keeping others out. That era is ending. We ALL share the world's atmosphere and ocean, as do other life-forms. There are too many of us today.

Money is vital to trade. Trading bags of wheat for a new car is cumbersome, and hard to arrange! As are the bags.
TRUST is vital to money - when Gold was the currency, the saying was "all that glitters is not gold"
With Gold COLOURED coins to represent that, it's currently 4,000 times the weight, and only works within a national border
With paper money, a 2Kg gold block would be much more compact, and possibly the same weight.
