ZardAus - "Wizard of Australia" is a second extension of ZardOz A (Sean Connery) film about an elite group of people who had achieved Practical-Immortality for themselves, whilst leaving the rest of the world to die of starvation.
The sentient machinery that maintained and rejuvenated these people whenever they died, were killed or suicided eventually devised a scheme to destroy itself by the use of armed rebels outside the safe "Vortex" or force field.
Wizards these days seldom boil up snakes and toads in a big cauldron. This process has been discovered to be 99% ineffective - Science usually requires better connectivity with reality - and the world wide web is a bonza tool for gathering and disemminating Knowlege and Ideas for the good of Mankind - or for restricting it, when one has the power to suppress such.
Me? (InsideOxfordUniversity.com) ... I'd like to live in a more caring world than this one, though, In Australia, Enjoyment of a passive Life is not hard. But I'd much rather see us all revitalised, and caring for each other, mankind, animals, forests, the planet.... and onwards to others .... Our human tenure will not last much longer if we do not seed the stars - and do so for the good of all
